Kevin McKinley, CFP®, is the founder and Principal/Owner of McKinley Money LLC.

Kevin began working for an investment firm when he was 17 years old. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in economics and history in 1988, he returned to the same firm to become a financial advisor. He earned the title of Vice President at the age of 25, and achieved the Certified Financial Planner® designation in 2001.

In 2002 Simon & Schuster published Kevin's book Make Your Kid a Millionaire—11 Easy Ways Anyone Can Secure a Child's Financial Future.

In 2003 his show On Your Money began airing each week on Wisconsin Public Radio, and he started writing a monthly column on family financial planning for Registered Rep, the leading publication for financial advisors.

He writes a weekly newspaper column on money, and in 2005 he was named to the Wisconsin Governor's Council on Financial Literacy.
